As part of the group investigation "documenting the furtive" convened by curator karen elaine spencer supported by artist's run centre skol in montreal.
The work consists of misaddressing a portion of skol's 800+ publicity mailout. All envelopes were labelled twice, with the second label placed on top of the first. The first had the original address (from skol’s mailing list database) the second label was slightly tampered with to remove the names of all addressees, and to change some of the addresses. The recipient and the receipt of the publicity material is uncertain, questioning the targetting of an art public within a general notion of art as addressed to a public at large.
