Presentation was a year-long performance project which culminated in my thesis exhibition at the Anna Leonowens Gallery 2 in Halifax, Nova Scotia. Throughout the course of the performance (documented on this website under the sub-heading, anticipation), I did what I could to convince the people I encountered that I was working non-stop to construct a massive sculpture.
Upon the exhibition's opening, it was revealed that the gallery was, in fact, empty. The sub-section, recollection, contains documentation of reactions to the gallery being unaltered.
This project was featured in Canadian Art Magazine Winter 2009 issue.
