[Caché]
As Nul si Découvert was concerned with the unknowable or unobservable as a counterpart to knowledge, Michael Haneke's film Caché engages with the repressed or excluded affect of trauma as it haunts the bourgeois subject.
The work I enacted in my project, was to connect the exhibition to the film - to construct a bridge between two fictional frames, to compare absences, to communicate between the unobservable that hides from knowledge, and the shame the avoids accountability.
