Every day that I stood in front of the video loop of La Collectionneuse, I had a camera discretely recording, hidden on my body and pointing towards the video I watched. The recording captured a copy of the video loop, however, since it was attached to my body, the recording was affected by my movements as I shifted from foot to foot, and also other spectators in front of and around me, as well as their comments and conversations. This recording of an identically repeating video loop transforms into an ever differing narrative through the never-identical elements outside the frame of the looping video.
